ANZ New Zealand August consumer confidence down to 92.0 from 94.7 in July

down 2.9% m/m in August (prior -4.1%)consumer confidence to its lowest level in ten months

ANZ comment:

“Not only did overall consumer confidence fall 3 points in
August; the net proportion thinking it’s a good time to buy a
major household item fell and remains negative”

The data release has not moved NZD/USD, its circa 0.5882
