Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi said on Monday that the country cannot abandon its nuclear enrichment program, even though its facilities have suffered major damage.
“Enrichment has been halted for now due to the severity of the damage,” Araghchi told Fox News, “but we can’t give it up — it’s a product of our scientists’ efforts and, even more importantly now, a matter of national pride.”
Although there are currently no plans to restart nuclear negotiations with the U.S., Iran confirmed it will meet with China and Russia on Tuesday, followed by talks with the UK, France, and Germany on Friday.

Oil traders will be eyeing such developments. Trump has said he will strike Iran again to halt the country’s development of nukes if needed.
