EU’s von der Leyen: EU and Japan to work more closely to address unfair trade

Today the President of the European Council, António Costa, and the President
of the European Commission, Ursula von der Leyen, met the apanese Prime Minister Shigeru Ishiba at the 30th EU-Japan Summit in Tokyo.

This is not a market moving news as the trade deal with the US was what the market was focused on given the influence on the BoJ policy. Nevertheless, it adds to positive developments for Japan (leaving aside the domestic politics that eventually might just boost fiscal support).
