European indices closed lower yesterday, missing out on the gains by US stocks late on amid the whole Trump firing Powell drama. So, there is some catching up to do here with US futures also keeping steadier today. Looking to the coming week, all eyes will be on whether the US and EU can strike a makeshift trade deal of sorts before the 1 August deadline.
