China gold reserves rise for eigth straight month

The latest data shows
that China’s gold reserves at the end of June were at 73.90 million
ounces, up from 73.83 million ounces at the end of May. In value
terms, the reserves at the end of June amount to $242.93 billion
compared to $241.99 billion at the end of May.
