German DAX futures -0.8%UK FTSE futures -0.5%
This mirrors the softness in US futures, which are also down 0.3% on the day. Wall Street also retreated yesterday but that owed much to a fall in tech shares. Geopolitical tensions are weighing of course but also as the US-China “deal” still has a lot of ambiguity to it. On the latter, be on the look out for comments from Chinese officials in the next hour or so.
